Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) is an institute of national importance. It was formerly known as Maulana Azad College of Technology (MACT), which India is one of the first eight Regional Engineering Colleges. The institute is named after the great scholar, educationist and the first Minister of Education Govt. of India, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The Govt. of India and Govt. Madhya Pradesh jointly with the Institute in 1960 to attract bright young students from across the country. Currently, approximately 200 teachers and 4000 students, the Institute has successfully pursued the goal of producing a skilled workforce of the highest quality to the challenges of the changing needs of the industry.



The institute is located in the heart of Bhopal on a beautiful tray with a green 650-acre campus. It has 8 homes with an excellent Fooding and housing with 24 hour security. MANIT's Computer Center, canteens, workshops, field athletics, Energy Outdoor Center and the auditorium are the places where students enjoy a healthy and competitive environment.
