Navi Mumbai resident Prakash Harshad Chavan head of the HSC results by scoring 96.67 percent. Chavan, a disciple of Swami Vivekanand College, Chembur, scored 580 marks of 600 in the HSC examination.
Akshay Rohit Gandhi College of Siesbach missed first place by a whisker. Ghatkopar resident scored 96.33 percent. If Lekha Murlidharan of Ruparel College scored 96.17 percent on the third.
The percentage of students who passed the HSC examination this year is 74.61 per cent in Mumbai.
