Nokia India Taking Your Junk Mobile Phone back

Giant maker Nokia mobile phones in India has announced that with the collection of Nokia Mobile Phones and Plant a tree in your name.

Every time you get a rubbish phone Nokia dealer, the company will plant a tree, with the exception of recycled phone, with an environmentally friendly way.

Announcing the initiative on World Environment Day, Ambrish Bakaya, Director of Corporate Affairs Nokia Philippines, said the company is working closely with two NGOs in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka to plant 22,000 trees. The program will soon be 15 metropolis, "he added.

"We have 1,300 boxes to our dealer stores nationwide where people can find their phone waste," said Bakaya.



The manufacturers of mobile phones with largest market share in the Philippines is a good answer. "Now that we work closely with an Ngo called Ahimsa in Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu to plant 12,000 trees, and with rotary Bangalore Midtown to plant 10,000 trees in educational institutions in this city."

Nokia has worked to ensure that the laws governing the recycling of electronic waste, which threatens to have a big problem in the Philippines.

Say that the company will make manufacturers Association for Information Technology, the Ministry of Environment and forestry and the Department of Telecommunications to jointly more guidance on topics, Bakaya added: "We welcome any step that helps e -waste management and create awareness about the need to recycle e-waste in an environmentally friendly way.
