Nilachal Gramya Bank opened a new branch in Puri

The169th branch of the Bank Nilachal Gramya was opened by the President of the bank on Saroj Kumar Das
Nabakalebar Road
here Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Das said that customers trust the bank is reflected in its net profit of about EUR 14 crore this fiscal year, which is the highest Gramya all banks operating in the state.

After the merger of Puri and Dhenkanal Gramya banks Nilachal Gramya Bank, the bank that an increase of EUR 260 crore in 2008, expansion of total deposits to EUR 1297 crore, while advances rose to EUR 817 crore, Das informed.

Priority was given to financing schemes supported by the government for SC, ST and other economically disadvantaged areas, he said.

Das also focused on several new innovative programs such as the simple formula for the repayment of old debt and high interest on deposits.

Other banks CEO Pranab Kishore Mohanty, Director General (Planning) Bijay Kumar Ray and the manager (development) Dayanidhi Dash were present at this occasion. Branch Manager Biren Kumar Mahapatra conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
