History of M.J.P. Rohilkhand University | MJP Rohilkhand University Degree Results 2009

Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly was founded in 1975. It was then cut from the University of Agra. There was a need for a university for the region has a literacy rate below the national average. The University provides non-conventional, technical and vocational education through its network of universities and institutes. The university took into account its objectives, regional, national and global, has developed programs that can be categorized as follows:

* Post-graduate programs
* Under-graduate programs in specialized areas
* Certificate and diploma programs for work.

The core programs are the Master's level, while professional, technical and vocational education graduates. The first includes MA Ancient History & Culture, and Regional Economics Applied Plant Science, Animal Science, education, law and business administration. While this will include training in six areas of technology, three courses in special education, pharmacy, etc. New technologies, such as Air Craft maintenance on the agenda of the University.

There are currently 10 university departments, 41 government-funded colleges affiliated 39 self-financing colleges. The University runs 36 Post Graduate, 15 under graduates, 09 graduates, 20 Post Graduate Diploma, 02 M. Phil and 34 doctoral programs. In most cases, programs are reviewed annually.

It is a commitment from the university to raise funds in the light of developments in the future, UG, PG and doctoral degrees.

Programs must be reviewed annually by each board of education to keep pace with changes in academia and industry. The exercise program design, review and modification is performed using

* Global development via the Internet and exchange programs
* Interaction with students

The Academic Council meets twice a year to approve the recommendations of each board of education.

The weak and strong points are:

B - Education Learning and Assessment:

The strengths of teaching, learning and student assessment are:

* Computer programs in each school
* Transparent student assessment

The university is known to the State for a rapid implementation of entrance examinations, the end of the course, examination and reporting of results. The university, therefore, provides all the extra equipment for students up to date and relevant to citizens. A large budget is set aside for personal development and recreation for students, it plays a role in nation-building.

C - research, consulting and extension:

Research is underway, as evidenced by the number of research programs and projects. Several departments have research projects funded or supported by the UGC, DBT, DST, AICTE and MHRD.

Students of master's and doctorate-level committee to complete reports, briefs and arguments of their knowledge and experience, in addition to course work. Students from accredited programs, including Business Administration, Hotel Management and Engineering, the exposure of working with industry to acquire practical knowledge in their field of specialization.

The university has developed infrastructure in terms of space and buildings, during the period. Auditorium is also available at the Faculty of Education. A multipurpose room is great for functions such as convening meetings, etc.

The laboratories in the scientific departments of a very modern and sophisticated equipment and devices, not only for education, but is necessary for research purposes. And all departments of the Faculty of Engineering has well equipped laboratories for B. and B. Pharma Tech student. The Department of Hotel Management and restoration of the Faculty of Management, a pioneer in the northern department of India to start training a bachelor well-equipped kitchens, food labs, dining room and other facilities for the best in the area.

Museum Panchal, a recent addition and is nearing completion, is an alternative to the exhibition of objects of historical interest.

Buses and other vehicles available for students, employees, school children and staff of the University.

E - Student Support and Progression:

The university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities AIU participates in most of the tournaments. Athletes have laurels for the university by winning gold, silver and bronze. The teams participating in the university about 44 events. In addition, inter-college tournaments some games are regularly at the university.

Playgrounds of the stadium, indoor stadium games exist to promote the sport among students. Other extra-curricular activities include cultural programs, participation in debates, etc.

Student Union's mission is to promote leadership skills and practices of health among students. Welfare and teachers association are part of campus life.

The university also has the use and management of the Bureau, which provides information to students for employment in line with their qualifications.

National Social Service (NSS) is a separate function where students are involved in social services. It makes them aware of their social obligation. Campus are organized and many students participate and are aware of their obligation to society.

F - Organization and Finance:

The organization of a state university consisting of

* University of the Court, including the elected representatives of faculty, staff and community. It has its regular meetings.
* Executive Board is the Vice-Chancellor as Chairman and the Registrar as Secretary of reporting. There are also representatives from the faculty of each section, the directors of affiliated colleges, appointed member of the research, finance officer and member of the community, etc.
* Academic Council: This organization handles all academic matters and is composed of the heads, deans, professors, readers and lecturers, heads, representatives of the College of Teachers of the association
* Board of Studies: Each department has its board of directors composed of studies of the head, as facilitator and the faculty members in accordance with the provisions of the Statute.

All these bodies are supported or complemented by various committees including the Finance Committee, Review Committee Form, School Board and chairman of department committees.

Management of the University business is conducted by a team of officers headed by the Vice-Chancellor. The main agents - Finance appointed by the government is responsible for the budget, income, expenditure, accounting and auditing clerk is appointed by the Government, assisted by the Deputy Registrar and Deputy Registrars.

The academic deans, the Dean of Students Welfare (DSW), Head, faculty responsibilities Sports (sports secretary) discipline (Proctor), the hostel management (Director).
