The ICC World Twenty20 competition first took place in South Africa in September 2007.
The competition, which only lasted two weeks, was an event that led to the dramatic run five India defeat Pakistan.
There were many memorable events, including the relations between India and Pakistan in Durban in the group that saw the first stages of an event come to ICC World Twenty20, the victory over Bangladesh in the West Indies , Zimbabwe and the shock defeat of Australia in Cape Town.
There were also excellent performances at the event.
West Indian Chris Gayle became the first player to hit a T20 International century, hundreds of registration of just 50 balls on the opening night of the event against South Africa.

The Cricket World Cup is the jewel ICC cricket calendar and takes place every four years, with disputed results in 50 overs per side format.
There are nine events so far, with the first tournament held in England in 1975.
The last ICC Cricket World Cup was held in 2007 in the Caribbean, which was won by Australia, which has become the first in history to win three consecutive titles.
